Hello! My name is Deborah Madison, I am the owner and founder of Monashee Mountain Bernedoodles.
After several years of researching this incredible hybrid breed of dogs, in 2013 my family and I decided to embark on our own journey of raising top quality Bernedoodles in our family home in Midway, British Columbia.

What the Heck is a Bernedoodle?
The Bernedoodle is a delightful hybrid created by crossing the gentle, affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog with the highly intelligent and allergy-friendly Standard Poodle. The result? A large, loving companion with a charming personality and a coat that’s easier on allergies.

In terms of structure, the Bernedoodle is truly striking. It carries the tall, graceful build of the Standard Poodle combined with the strength and beauty of the Bernese Mountain Dog. While they may look like they belong in a show ring, you’ll more often find them sprawled upside-down on the couch, tagging along on family camping trips, or happily running along the beach. Whatever the adventure, they’re always ready to join in. Friendly, loyal, and full of heart — meet your new best friend, the Bernedoodle.
